If you plan to order Red King Crab – or other Alaska seafood – this holiday season, here’s what you need to know:
How much should I order?
Plan on ordering at least a pound per person.
When should I order?
Now! Order earlier than you think you should. This year, both Christmas and New Year’s Eve are on Mondays, and there is no Sunday shipping. Saturday delivery, available in most urban zip codes, costs extra. So to ensure your holiday meal or gift arrives on time, order now and pop back in the freezer until you’re ready to thaw and serve!
Would they like it?
Just imagine how you’d feel receiving a delivery of this year’s Alaskan Red King Crab in time for the holidays. Amazing, right? When we get calls from gift recipients, they are so surprised at how big the crab legs are and how fresh it tastes. It’s a thoughtful, generous gift with a definite WOW factor, and you can have it shipped anywhere in the Continental U.S. + Alaska and Hawai’i.
Seafood gift-giving etiquette:
- Send a pound or more per person.
- Let your gift-recipient know it’s coming. We receive several calls a year from people wondering who sent their box of Alaska seafood. You want
to be sure they know a perishable item is on its way, plus you definitely want credit! Let them know ahead of time. You can also add a holiday
gift message and your name when you complete our online order form.
- Got a special recipe? Do share. Pair it with a holiday card for a fun way of revealing your gift.
